So hello, episode 5. Thank you so much for joining me. Welcome back to the Empowerment Diaries. Welcome back, listeners.

Episode 5, this is your opportunity to ask me the Goddess of Growth your questions. To ask me the goddess of growth your questions. The space here is about building community. It's about engagement. I'm ready to listen and I'm ready to answer questions. Now, in our last episode, I talked about burnout and how to reclaim our energy, thanking you in advance for sharing your story. I'm hoping to hear your story and your positive and powerful steps that you took to make change. I hope, whilst you're listening today, you're taking great steps to prioritise your wellbeing. Today's episode is all about you. I am giving you a prompt really to join me. Join me on social media, whether it be TikTok, instagram or my email list. It's all new for me, so you might be the first one joining. Do join me, let me know who you are and do let me know if you have any questions, any suggestions about the podcast, about the topics that I've raised thus far.

Think about how you can make the tools I've mentioned are an integral part of your life Emotional freedom techniques, meditation. Remembering the simple setup for emotional freedom techniques where you're tapping in. I like to go on my head at the top. Some people like to go in their heart. It just depends on how long ago the situation happened. We don't always have an opportunity to tap in immediately as we feel what we feel. As soon as you feel that emotion, work on it. The simple setup which I've been through and the significant thing is to think about how you're feeling and say, even though this is how I feel, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Someone asked me one day what if my thoughts are I do not love myself, even if that's how you feel at that moment, still say I deeply and completely love and accept myself. This is like a reverse psychology. You'll get there. You'll start feeling better.

Speaker 1:

Some people, when they're doing emotional freedom techniques, have a great emotion, to the point they might cry. Some people laugh. Either way, I see energy raising up and spirit gets involved. Get used to tapping. When you get used to the tapping, you will find you actually don't even need to physically tap. That's another thing that you'll get into. So you can almost do it. As soon as the triggers come, you can start working on your emotion.

Think about when it is best to make an effort to tap within the divine feminine energy. It really doesn't need effort, but sometimes, when emotions take over, we forget that there's a source flowing through us that we are there to tap into and listen, to Be open to listening and you may find doing things like meditation, tapping into your creativity, maybe art, painting, singing, even dancing, developing a self-care routine that is not just about makeup. We're not talking about what's on the surface, but talking about how we're feeling inside, tapping in so that we're in a space that we can open our minds, our hearts and tap into our intuition, our inner wisdom, identify ways that you can stay motivated and you know what, even if there is a day and a moment and a time and a season where you just cannot motivate yourself, know that that's okay. Downtimes are a blessing. The idea is not to relish or overly indulge in downtimes. Just as, in the garden, the flowers and the plants disappear under the soil for a while, there's a time and a season for everything. Sometimes you just need to cover up, incubate for a little while if you can focus on staying motivated whilst the energy is there, whilst the season is there, and it's helpful if you do the little things, the meditation, the small steps on a daily basis, the moment by moment basis. Just as you feel that you might be slipping into a different energy than you'd like to be in, if you're struggling, seek support, build your network. Build your network with people that's focused on growth, and growth only and when I say growth only, I don't mean at all costs growth that understands that there is a time and a season. We need people to nurture us as to where we are, not according to where we or they would like us to be. Part of this growth journey is actually learning on, in a moment by moment basis, how to be in this moment and enjoy this moment as much as we have our ideas of where we would like to be. We need to be in this space and make the best of this space as much as possible, because it's this building block that's going to help us with wherever we would like to be.
