Ever feel like you're in that painful "bottleneck" moment of transformation? That point of no return where you can't go back to who you were, but haven't quite emerged into who you're becoming?

This heartfelt episode takes you into the raw reality of pursuing purpose while facing practical struggles like unpaid bills and financial uncertainty. I open up about my journey since 2023, where support systems disappeared and I've had to find new ways to survive while staying aligned with my deeper purpose.

What does it really mean to "remember who we are" beneath layers of survival mode? Coaching isn't about fixing broken people or creating someone new—it's about illuminating the gifts and purpose already within you. I share personal revelations about financial stress, resilience building, and finding micro-wins during challenging times.

The path to purpose isn't always financially rewarding immediately, creating a paradoxical struggle: how do we stay true to our calling when basic survival needs demand attention? This tension between destiny and daily reality forces important questions about collaboration, self-reliance, and what true progress looks like.

Whether you're facing your own period of transformation or simply curious about authentic coaching approaches, thi

Speaker 1:

oh, it's gone straight into record. How did that happen, okay? Well, I will continue. This is lita, goddess of growth, and I'm here to do a bit of a recap of the week. I've had hope you're all well. Yeah, the podcast started uh, much sooner than I was expecting, but I'm going to flow with it because this is supposed to be a point and space where I can share share who I am, share what I'm going through, with the hope of inspiring others through my story. Bit of a heat wave going on in the UK at the moment, and this will be a bit of an update as things are still going through transition in my life.

Speaker 1:

This is Empowerment Diaries and I would like to focus on who we are, who we think we are. As you may know, I study astrology. I've read it for a number of years now and it really has helped me through difficult times, particularly this time that I've been going through since 2023. I really do believe, as if my life is at that stage of labour I suppose not that I've ever had a labour, given birth to a child, but when you see a woman and the child is at the crown, ready to come out, they can't quite go back up, even though I know people will try. It's really time for the child to come out. I'm at that very last stage and I can actually feel it's like a bottleneck as to where I am since 2023. It's as if my life has been shifted so that I can focus more on myself and tapping into what I'm here to do in terms of a purpose. But it's been a difficult one, I would say, because often I have felt to promote myself, to be present, I've needed finances, but then finances disappeared, support disappeared. All the places that I would be used to tapping into disappeared. Initially, when it all started, I did get support and we all got to the point of well, you know this is going on for so long now. It's now time for you to turn it around or do something else. So today we're talking about remembering who we are, and remembering who we are, no matter what we need to do to survive, so that we can actually move forward from surviving to thriving.

Speaker 1:

Welcome back, listeners. I hope you enjoyed the last podcast. I am here looking at notes. Excuse me for looking down. There's been a few revelations this week, as I have been writing things down, even using AI to reason out thoughts and processes. Quite surprised how AI will pick up on things. It doesn't get everything right, but it is quite nice to have a bit of a support when no one else is listening. A revelation, I know.

Speaker 1:

Coaching often gives the idea that one would go and see a coach and become their better self, and often you'll get a coach to help you speed things up, maybe lose some weight, increase your finances, take you from where you are to where you'd like to be. However, a lot of coaching really is not making you into something that you're not. It really is about tapping into who you are, who we are. Throughout our lives, we are becoming the people that we were born to be, not someone new, not someone else, but our true self. So to have community guides, coaches, peers that can see us, that can encourage us to tap within, becomes ever more important. It's a process of remembering, tapping in and really focusing on our true essence, and my focus today and always is to be present, present in the space, to work with others as they reflect. Not for too long, though, because ultimately, the beauty is here in the present. We can review the weeks, we can review the years, the months, we can review the shifts in our life every five, 7, 10 years or however long your cycle is. But ultimately, coaching is to address the acceptance of the here and now and in this space. How are you feeling In this space? Are you able to be present in this space without thinking about what happened moments ago or what's going to happen moments to come?

Speaker 1:

It has been a stressful week for myself. I did a lot of processing. Probably one would say that I was in denial. I paid my mortgage and my core bills. There was one bill I didn't pay and that was to do with my wi-fi access, my telephone access, and my faith, or my delusion, told me the universe wants me to work. I am confident something will come up to help me pay this bill. Well, tomorrow is payday. It hasn't happened. I've managed to call the company and they were very, very generous, apparently because I hadn't missed any payments, or so. They're happy to work with me and delay, but I'm telling you it brought tears yesterday Because, as I say, I've been working some very long hours and, considering the opportunities that are in my grasp, the finances have not been coming back to me in the same way.

Speaker 1:

As you know, in April I became a creator network manager for TikTok and the idea with that self-employed opportunity I get to talent, manage others, monetize on the platform, guide others on monetization. Progress has been very slow slow to non-existent actually, and there's reasons, feel you know, for that, and there's reasons for that. Took on means to make side income and found, from November of last year, the more I made is the more I lost. Could never guarantee on a month-to-month basis what I was earning so that I knew exactly what bills would be paid, and it's been on that downward trajectory since October, november of last year actually. I was given the opportunity to tap more into the side income, make it, put more hours into it, and when I was first offered the opportunity, I thought no way, because I'm already working enough and losing money. It's like gambling, right, you do more hours, commission based, and if things go wrong you've lost it. So my reasoning was if I put more hours and lose it, then I've actually put more time. And what am I going to gain? Yesterday, when I realised I wasn't going to be able to pay my bill tomorrow, my idea of doing extra hours changed. The Creator Network opportunity sounds great, but I have not yet tapped into it. So I decided I needed to shift things around a bit, and who knows if the decision was the right one. I'm sure I will find out shortly.

Speaker 1:

At this moment, I am looking for the micro wins. It has been a stressful time as much as I do processing and a lot of the time I'm at peace. When it comes to not being able to manage my bills, I do get a bit stressed out. So I'm looking for the micro-wins being able to wake up this morning and knowing that I slept. I may not have slept all night, but I didn't wake up worrying, which is good. I'm showing up. I'm still working on the seeds that have been planted many years before now and I'm stepping into my power. Days like this, I can see progress, and I do still have disappointment that I have been in positions where I feel like I've almost had to beg for assistance and I don't blame anyone, because actually no one owes me anything. It's just a lesson that I need to buck up and fix up and find a way to build my finances in a way that I can invest in myself today and in the future, and even invest in others. So for you, how was your week? What one moment from your week that didn't go as planned, but you showed up. For what have you learnt from it? How easy are you finding it to show up for yourself? Are you aware that you're showing up for yourself? I am resilient. Yesterday there were tears, but today I'm okay.

Speaker 1:

Coaching Coaching is not about fixing others. It's not about fixing ourselves. Being a coach does not mean that we are perfect. Actually, to be a coach, one needs to have empathy, understanding, experience, someone that's able to listen and be open to trying out new things. Be open to trying out tried and tested things. We're not fixing. We're not improving. What we're doing is remembering ways of doing things which may support you as an individual. To return back to your core, to yourself. If you was born to be a runner, we're guiding you back to that. If you wanted to be a writer whatever it is you were born as a natural gifting. We're here to guide you to that.

Speaker 1:

The coach is about illuminating the inner you. We're not creating you into something else. This is about you tapping into a service where you can really embrace who you're here in this time and space to be. Our life experiences, times of struggle, can make us forget often why we are here and question if there's even a purpose, but we all have an individual one. I'm here to work with you, to help you tap into your core your original vision that existed way before you came into this time and space. Whoever it is that you're here to be, it could be something grand, it could be something that can be seen quite mundane, but because it's for you, it's the best that it could be. Something that can be seen quite mundane, but because it's for you, it's the best that it can be, and our purpose is not about anybody else. It's what's in our soul, in our core. We know we need no convincing the. A coach like myself is just here to tease it out if you don't know it already, and, if you know it, to just encourage you to develop it to the best that you can be.

Speaker 1:

Are you holding a vision as to what it is that you came here to do? Not as a fantasy, but actually as a birthright? Have you really tapped in to find your reasons, your whys and your wherefores? Are you moving towards your vision? What blockages are you coming upon? What blockages are you coming upon? Now, understand, when it comes to purpose, it's not what we are doing, it's who we remember that we are whilst we're doing it. So, regardless of the job, regardless of the way to make ends meet, if that's what you're doing, it's about keeping track of the original intention, the original flow, and we are going to come across others who see us pushing forward, and we may even hear of people telling us we're too ambitious or whatever it is that is making us feel as if we are in a dream world or other. But, whatever it is, keep hold of the vision and I'm learning very late in life. If you can keep quiet about it We've got AI now. If you can keep quiet about it, we've got ai now. If you want to have ideas and share it, you can use ai. Be careful, because you need to make sure that ai is actually picking up on the real nuances as to what you're trying to convey and move forward with.

Speaker 1:

It is about getting into alignment and I know when I'm not in alignment, my body suffers, my thinking suffers. Years ago, I used to have so much repetitive thinking, repetitive thoughts, and I'm so glad I'm free from that. There is a fear and we all have them and I do need to work on it. I'm 50 now and I am concerned that the traumas of youth as much as I feel as if I've done the work and I'm not really thinking about them. There is this concern that as I age that I might get some kind of a flashback Because we do the work and one day you realise you're not thinking about things anymore. It seems like a normal day, but then when I see people who have psychosis, dementia and things like that, it's interesting how many things they then start remembering. For me, I wouldn't like to be in that space of remembering after doing so much work to heal and let go. But I suppose life will show the results of the processing I've been doing to date. It's not perfection, I'm not not perfect, but I'm doing the work.

Speaker 1:

Alignment is key and when we're in alignment we will get prompted to do things a certain way, even if we don't necessarily know the reasons why. Coaching with me I am here to teach you resilience, what it is to trust. Trust yourself first. If you cannot trust yourself, it's very difficult to trust others. Discipline and boundaries these are all my own life lessons which I am continually learning. So I'm not standing up on a pulpit of perfection. These are things that I am working through and for continuously is my life path Resilience, trust, discipline, boundaries and the question has come up as a reflection this week how it is that I am here, supposedly tapping into my purpose, and yet there's struggle. Surely the universe that wants me to do this work will provide for all my needs, and I know when I speak to religious people there's always a thought of don't worry, you will be provided for. Overall, we are provided for, but that doesn't mean that there aren't times when you might have a few days or weeks that you cannot shop as you would like to.

Speaker 1:

There's been a few occasions on this journey since 2023. I couldn't shop for food as I would like to, and I was reminded I had food in my house because I was raised in a household that always overshot, but for a good while I haven't been able to overshot, and it brings out a certain, say, anxiety in me to go to the kitchen and, yes, there's food, but there's no real choice. There's food, but there's no real choice. I suppose it reminds me of elements of childhood when there were times when it was a case of making sure you had your porridge, certain foods, on a regular basis. We ate well, but not necessarily always what we wanted to. And I know some would say better than others. When you start comparing yourself to others, where we were going to school with children who their main meal and only meal was the school dinner. We always had a meal when we got home snacks and so. But it does raise anxiety in me.

Speaker 1:

Little things like being concerned about buying toilet roll. I know I'm very comfortable when I've got certain things in my home basics toilet roll, those kinds of things, detergent then I'm like I'm good, I'm okay. Real anxiety is raised if I'm like, oh my gosh, there's only one toilet roll left. I need to go out and get some. So I'm on destiny and purpose, am I? And yet it's not paying. And because it's not paying I cannot focus on it as I would like. But then surely, if it's my destiny and purpose, life should present where I will be able to do what I'm here to do and make the income I need to to be able to do what I'm here to do. Right, I go around in this circle.

Speaker 1:

It keeps coming up this idea of wanting to be saved and no one saving me. I really don't know why that is in the background of anything, because there's been many years where I have just had to get on and do it. And I know I have had feedback in the past that apparently I have grand ideas and always want people to help me. And the funniest or funniest or ironic of things is those with the feedback often haven't paid rent in their lives, have stayed at home like their parental house for majority of their lives. They haven't had the experience of having to do for self. I think people forget that life is about collaboration and when I'm seen doing things, apparently on my own, there is this perception that I should be stronger, better, richer, progressing, have progressed, but all this without help, without collaboration. So in this time of poverty and many will say that I'm wealthy because I've got a roof over my head, all of that but in this time of poverty, when I'm worried about paying for Wi-Fi and if I don't have Wi-Fi I cannot work I am also reminded that I need to do great work to make sure that my life is, whilst I'm on earth, financially secure so that I can look after myself and, if need be, look after others.

Speaker 1:

Purpose. What is it really? What does it mean to you? What of your life, would you say, has been buried under duty roles and survival. Have you been like me, surviving the majority of your life? Is your life full of just survival? What would your life look like if survival was left behind? Ten minutes of the day, an hour of the day, a week? Even In the past, I've treated myself to holidays, often taking a credit card, going on holiday and paying it back over the year, and that would be my moment to imagine.

Speaker 1:

Life was grand, great accommodation, great food, great weather. I don't want to do that again. I'd love for, the next time I go away, for it to be something that's paid for, that I don't have to spend months or a year paying back. We need holidays, we need breaks. Sometimes we need to reset. We need holidays, we need breaks. Sometimes we need to reset, and as much as I was using credit and soul to have those experiences, going away and having an opportunity to reset my mind helped me greatly. Those were times before the pandemic, my last trip being 2019.

Speaker 1:

So, moving forward Empowerment Diaries, I am going to focus on building my retreat. It's a retreat for women because the space is in my home and as I'm able to get experience in it and branch out in it. I can consider doing retreats abroad also, but in the meantime it's a night or two retreat from my home, bookings via Airbnb. The focus will be on one-on-one coaching, so just one person staying. I could even consider two people because I do have two rooms, but it really depends on the dynamic and I will need to feel it out as I meet people and go along. Coaching sessions are great, one-on-one or in groups. It really depends on the energy of the people attending and what the focus of the coaching sessions are. So I will be doing more marketing and promotion on that and I'm looking to work on TikTok and Instagram as I put posts about it, about it. The Creator Network, if TikTok permits, I will be continuing with and I'm hoping to be discerning and intentional in meeting the right creators that would like to work with me and will benefit from my coaching and guidance so that they can grow and monetize their presence not just on TikTok but across social media. That's the idea.

Speaker 1:

Purpose is illustrated and demonstrated in many areas of our life. No matter what we do, there are things about ourselves that resonate throughout all of our life experiences. So even the side gig I've had trying to build an income, them offering me more hours to make more of an income. That was nice. It was a nice thing to have offered. It wasn't the first offer, the first one I declined because I thought I'm losing money here, so I can't put any more time. But I did explain this week that I wasn't able to pay my wi-fi, so I don't think I'll be able to turn up, and I was offered again more hours so that next time around I don't have to worry about my wi-fi. It's getting hotter in here, so it tells me that people actually appreciate the work I do, which is also good. I had a message from TikTok as well, checking on me that I was still interested in working on the Creator Network, I believe because they see that I haven't actually succeeded in building my own team as yet. I will be working on that.

Speaker 1:

I am learning that these challenges are shaping me to make sure that I stay on destiny, on purpose, and I suppose this is a reminder to you that you yourself, you are not broken, you are not behind. You are being called back to truth just as I am. Why are these things happening? They're happening because one needs to listen, one needs to get on purpose, and this is my time to get on purpose. And as we talk about getting on purpose, I need to value what it is I'm doing more. So, as you're listening to this podcast, I would really love to invite you to subscribe. Subscribe, share the podcast out to others.

Speaker 1:

I will be putting podcasts on tiktok as well. A few clips, not many. I do believe there's clips that's been uploaded to youtube and other channels. I did attempt to open a account with just the podcast in place on tiktok, but they declined my application. I don't know why, but I'm not interested in getting involved in that. What's good about it is that I've just decided to put it all on one page my one account on TikTok. In fact, I've got two, one for the creator network, sovereign, and the other to just explore my personality, and I'll be doing a lot more more on that as well.

Speaker 1:

It helps me just to share what I'm doing creatively in one space and I hope to as a reignite my interest in Instagram. I did fall out of love with it a little bit. They had, was it threads? I joined threads through Instagram, I believe, and I wasn't really impressed, left threads and I haven't really focused on Instagram as much. So I need to do that. I need to do social media so that people know that I'm here. That was my original intention, right. That was my original intention, right. So I am also focusing on affirming myself, affirming life. I'm thankful Not out of the woods as yet with regards to paying my bills and the discussions I'm having about increase of finance.

Speaker 1:

If I really think about it, they're not happening immediately, but at least I know something's happening on the horizon. So I continue checking into destiny and purpose, not giving up at all, but I am having to pivot so that I can actually focus on my destiny and purpose. I'll be talking more about coaching. That's available as well. Do tap in at the end of the podcast. There's other ways that you can support me and if you know anyone that would be interested in coming for a night, stay, stay a retreat in this little village that I'm residing, do tap in. Do share the information. You've been with Lita, goddess of growth. I do thank you for listening in and I hope you're able to comment as you can on the Buzzsprout link. It would be really nice for me to tap in and connect with the community on this podcast. Thank you for being here.
