Building Your Creative Legacy
Are you tired of faceless agencies making empty promises about your creative potential? Welcome to a different approach to the creator economy.
When I first joined TikTok in 2023, I was bombarded with messages from anonymous "agents" claiming they could transform my digital presence if I just followed their formula. The reality? Disconnection, disappointment, and the uncomfortable suggestion that I compromise my authentic content for monetization. After navigating these frustrating waters and experiencing platform limitations firsthand, I discovered what creators truly need: genuine connection, honest guidance, and a supportive community.
This revelation led to the birth of Sovren UK Creator Network. As an officially approved TikTok Creator Network Manager, I'm building something fundamentally different—a community where UK-based creators receive personalized coaching, strategic guidance, and the honest truth about what it takes to succeed. We're not chasing viral moments or overnight fame; we're cultivating sustainable creative careers through authentic engagement and purposeful content.
What makes this opportunity unique? The coaching is completely free to creators, as TikTok compensates network managers based on creator success. This creates perfectly aligned incentives—your growth directly contributes to collective achievement. Whether you're a musician, artist, storyteller, entrepreneur, or som

Lita, goddess of Growth, here. I'm ready this time and I thought I'd come back. It's a bit cooler now. I'd come back to really discuss this Creator Network opportunity. What is it, people might be wondering. Some people might see it as some kind of talent management company opportunity.
Speaker 1:My personal experience I joined TikTok in 2023 and had a number of agencies messaging me telling me how they can help me make x amount of diamonds by doing a live stream x amount of time throughout the week. I joined one this was on my business account and I found that it was an interesting experience. I never met the person. They messaged me via TikTok it was apparent that their English was not their first language which exchanged numbers for WhatsApp. I thought I was going to get coaching to guide me on how I could promote my business better, extend my reach, but it didn't actually happen. I think we came to an impasse when I believe it was a she recommended that I maybe consider changing the way I do my content as a way to monetize on the platform. At the time, I was exploring using subscriptions to provide coaching online. I had two batches, very small amount of people. I did a £6 subscription and then I did a £100 subscription and I was hoping that the agent would be in a position to guide me on how to strategize to build the community I desperately really wanted to build on the platform. I could see the potential, so I left and as I left I decided it was around.
Speaker 1:About that time, I believe, I decided to open my very own personal account creator account to have a bit of fun that I saw everyone else having from their personal accounts. Not realising rules and regulations on TikTok at the time, I went in and I continued to do shoppable content, which I started from my business account. The business account was registered to a limited company, so I felt I had every right to have an account as an individual. Many months later in fact it was just last year I was approached by two agents at the same time and again I was coming to an impasse. I was doing shoppable content. At that time I was told if I did shoppable content I'd have more chances of meeting people from the UK because shoppable content could only be seen from within the UK. That wasn't happening and the agent that approached me said oh, go back to coaching. It's better if you do. You know it's very hard to build, you know, a presence, a fan base and so doing shoppable content, and I wasn't sure. After my first experience with an agent, I really wasn't sure. And another agent approached me. My spirit seemed to like that person and I decided because I was already thinking of closing my business down that I would love for her assistance to build on my personal account. And when she tried to invite me she was told she couldn't because apparently my account had a multi-account risk on it. She guided that I should tell the other agent on my business account that I wasn't interested and then she would basically manage me from there. I was disappointed because I decided that I didn't want to continue with the business, so there was no point joining an agency to continue doing something I was no longer interested in doing, so we just left it as that.
Speaker 1:Eventually I closed down my business account. The company is still dormant. There was another side account to do retreats, just talk about it, promote it and I closed those down, so I was left with just my creator account. I closed those down, so I was left with just my creator account. Unbeknownst to me, this risk multi-account risk was still on my account, still is till today, and what that means is is that I cannot participate in the creator rewards program that many private individuals can, and I cannot go viral, so I won't ever be able to make money going viral from my account. I can monetize, but not in the ways that others have access to having a private account. It's neither here nor there.
Speaker 1:Because in April I was invited by way of my 4U page to apply to become a creative network manager and I thought to myself this would be a good opportunity. I learned something from the agents that approached me and what I learned was they were faceless people. I never got to meet them and I know that I'm very good at meeting people, building rapport and having honest conversations, so I thought it would be an amazing opportunity to be that person on the other side of the message that asked someone to join them. But I would put a face to it, not just hide or be behind a WhatsApp message or direct message on TikTok. I applied. I didn't really think I was going to get it, but it was coming up on my For you page so many times I thought there's no harm in trying and by that time the traffic on my own creator page, which is the only page I was working at the time was really slow, like nothing was moving. There was one post that came past my 4U page that really hit home, suggesting that if I became a creative network manager I'd have more opportunities to grow and grow my practice, which is really what is of greater interest. So I applied and I was accepted.
Speaker 1:The only struggle I had was finding the name, because I had an idea of the name but it wouldn't accept Sovereign as a name. So I had to find different ways of spelling it so that the platform would accept it, and that's how I ended up with Sovereign as S-O-V-E-R-E-N. That's it. That was the only hiccup I had. Everything went through smoothly. I presented my hypnotherapy documents, my business degree, like everything, my limited company details. It was as if it was supposed to happen. I'd not long registered the limited company that I used to open the account with them just a few weeks before that's it, anyhow create a network.
Speaker 1:So I found myself as a creative network manager and did a few courses to learn how the system works, and one of the things one does as a creative network manager is look for creators to support, to coach, and I found myself doing the very thing that I know most of us as creators despise contacting people by email, by direct messenger, suggesting that they join me. It didn't work for me. Yes, I gave one a try for the business because I was in a state where it wasn't working. I thought someone would give me some guidance, but really, yeah, it just really didn't resonate with me. So I opened a separate TikTok account just before I started doing the emails and I haven't really done too much work on the account, and then I thought actually what I would do is put a face ahead of the name and start doing some posts and maybe doing some live streams. However, for one reason or other, I don't seem to be on the UK channel at the moment, so I will go to live stream and I'm just not meeting people in the UK, so I haven't been spending too much time online.
Speaker 1:I had this vision, because it was something that the platform wanted that I would go online, there would be people and all I needed to do was show up, talk about what I can do, what I will do and how we can work together and come together and build a community, because I know with social media, whichever platform you're on, you need to have community. You need to build relationships. You platform, you're on. You need to have community. You need to build relationships. You need to network, you need to create friendships. This is how collaboration works and then we can support each other to grow. Not everyone's going to go viral, not everyone's going to get that high brand deal, but it's about creating spaces so that everyone can have their portion of all the opportunities that's going by, according to what is for them. You know so beautiful people.
Speaker 1:We're back to the empowerment diaries and we're talking about my opportunity as a creator network manager. Creator network is called Sovereign. I am in the heat wave. It's after, I think, nine. At the moment it's a bit cooler, but I'm still hot. Thank you for being here.
Speaker 1:So, lita, goddess of Growth, on this platform, on this podcast, I am the host, I am the guide and I am a creative soul. I like to connect with people. That's focused on creativity, whatever it is you're doing writing, speaking, singing, performing it's my life. My father, when he was here, he was a singer in his time. There's so many artistic people within my family writers, musicians and the like and I'm sure many families are the same. It's a strong theme in my family and I have done a lot. There's still a lot more to do. Life spearing still a lot more to do.
Speaker 1:Life spearing this episode is to tap into what I would like to nurture in terms of creativity, and it is my aspiration that this creative network opportunity that's come my way will facilitate my own addition to the creative industries, my own connection, my own support. And it's also about tapping into the sovereign yes, sovereign creator network, aligning with my vision of helping people to help themselves, tapping into themselves their core purpose, their creativity. Creativity to me is a great sign of happiness. I don't know about you. I can't even bake a cake if I'm not in the mood. I really need to be in the mood to cook. I can tell if the food is going to taste nice, if the dish will be nice or not, just by how I feel when I'm preparing it.
Speaker 1:I'm here to build something powerful and I am hoping that the Creator Network is the opportunity that maybe my life has been waiting for to make that happen. I'm hoping that the Creator Network sovereign will have a power that taps into the power of all the creators I meet and work with, so that we can progress together, not just on TikTok. Tiktok is the gateway and I know with social media, regardless of the platform, there will be things that we can do which will help us progress and elevate and, for whatever reason, rules and regulations may prevent progress. So I am not disillusioned. I do understand that opportunities are as they are. Not everything is for everyone. However, I do think the creator network is one way that creators can tap in to build up growth and ideas, develop their branding, their strategy. So, no matter what platform they are on, they're able to tap into their own version of success. I'm building and I'm hoping for something powerful that resonates through the whole community that joins with me, something sovereign and something that's sustainable, that goes far and beyond the platforms that we are working on.
Speaker 1:So, if you are listening and you are in the UK and I'm really sorry everyone it is a UK-based creator network. The opportunity was given to me to work with UK-based creators and, in fact, I met someone that gave me agency license to work with those in the US, but one or two things happened and I've actually given up that opportunity. Now Lots of changes are happening with TikTok, as we read online anyhow. So I think, as I'm just starting out. Focusing only on the UK at this time would be the best and most prudent thing to do. I can give it all my love and all my attention. I'm very aware of the culture because this is where I was born and raised and it would just be easier to navigate at this time, of course, being successful and I can see achievement. If there are opportunities later down the line to do things further afield, most certainly I will consider it, but now is not the time. So back to Sovereign UK Creator Network.
Speaker 1:I am the proud director of the network as long as TikTok facilitates, and, you know, is still happy for me to do the same. And, with that being said, I am focused on working with people in the creative industries, whether they're trained in the creative industries or they just have a passion and desire for the creative industries. Tiktok is a space that you can actually create a career of your own. There are people that have become anchors. There are people that have set up stalls. There's so many branding opportunities that we can create for ourselves or tap into as we collaborate with others, and I've dabbled with little little things. I've still got a long way to go. The opportunities are there. It's about us focusing and making them our own, and I do believe this Creator Network opportunity came my way because maybe the platform saw that I was there, especially in 2023, 24, early 24, spending a lot of hours attempting to be online to attract a community that I could coach on a frequent basis. Now I have the opportunity to coach others. The service delivery is free to the people that join me because that's how TikTok has set it up. The creators keep all their income and TikTok will pay the creator network based on the creator's earnings. So it means that I have an added interest in making sure I choose the right creators and make sure that they succeed, because their success is my success. It's all a self-employed opportunity Artists, comedians, musicians, entrepreneurs, small business owners, micro-influencers Anyone that's at home at the moment in between jobs.
Speaker 1:You know there are people on TikTok that are happy to spend time seated talking to someone on a live stream about life. It could even be a story about going to the shop for today. It really depends on who comes into the live stream. People sometimes like to attend live streams to sit and listen. There are other live streams multi-panel live streams where you can be a host and actually have people come on board to talk, because there's definitely a space, especially if you're having live streamers pass by that live on their own or are disconnected with their family or can't talk to their family. There is definitely a space to host a live stream and have a panel and have people come up and speak and in that space you might want to have a bit of a more private space, at which point you could do things like subscriptions, where the live stream was open, but only those that subscribe could be there throughout the whole of the live stream.
Speaker 1:We're talking about building presence online, building personal brands, building community, making friends, genuine connections, being open to collaboration with other creator networks, with other creators, with sellers on the platform, brands on the platform, and so many people have live streamed and, because they've built up their rapport, their following, their fan base, they then decide to create their own merchandise. There might be a little nickname that people start calling someone that has been hosting for a while, and they might use that to create merchandise like caps, calendars, even gifts to their fans. There's lots of opportunity. It is really about us coming together and being seated and working out which opportunities you or portal to present it this opportunity actually might be key. And when I talk about your creativity, we're not looking for the best singer, the best dancer. What we're looking for is passion and being able to engage, connect with the audience. There are people that sit on the platform and they write, they colour in books, they paint.
Speaker 1:There are things that people love to watch because it becomes very therapeutic. Imagine someone and it's not always that there's someone that's not well, that's watching, to be fair, but someone that's actually maybe going through transition too much on the television to remind them of life, and you go to a live stream and someone is writing in the sand or on a live stream, seated at a beach, sitting down having a drink. You can see them, they're talking to you, it's almost as if you're there. There's something about watching people even tour London or travel. It kind of takes us there. We've got a little bit of a time throughout that day, throughout that moment, to be transported into another place via that host and via that live stream. And then what happens? Often those that appreciate it attend the live stream and they may send a gift thanking the person for taking their time in their holiday, at the restaurant or wherever they are, to showcase another part of life that we may never see.
Speaker 1:It's amazing what technology can do actually. Now, there is a thing about building community, because the truth is there are so many people live streaming and not everybody that attends a live stream is interested in giving giving some kind of a support for the live streamers to be present, and one cannot expect them. It is not mandatory on the platform to attend live streams and support it On a basic level. The platform often encourages hosts to encourage attendees to tap the screen. One believes it's because of the algorithm, so the algorithm gets an understanding that people are actually engaged in the live stream. The host gets some kind of reward for doing regular live streams in the first place. However, things have changed recently. There's new rules and regulations coming into play which encourage creators to do a bit more to make the space more engaging, and we can talk about all of that as and when you choose to join me.
Speaker 1:This is about building a business for yourself. This is about tapping into your creativity, really exercising your emotional intelligence, because it really isn't a case of just showing up If anyone approaches you and tells you all you need to do to succeed is just be there. I don't think that's quite right. Actually, working with me, you will get honesty and I will tell you what I can, as and when I can. I'm a creator network manager. It's a partnership with TikTok, so I do need to respect the boundary and the relationship between us. I will most certainly be honest with all the creators that I'm working with in terms of the opportunities generally and personally, because not everything is for everyone right. This is an opportunity. This is an opportunity to join my creator network, sovereign, and I'm building a base, a network. I'd love you to join, and I am an approved TikTok creator network, working in partnership with TikTok to guide creators as to the rules and regulations, in the first instance, but most importantly, in building careers from the many opportunities available on the platform. There are available opportunities on the platform, but also within that space, as I've indicated, we can create our own.
Speaker 1:I have seen authors with their books publish, go online, build an online community and sit within the live stream signing their books and arranging to send it to a fan that's watching Personal service, and we're building our money monetisation and our income streams as we go along In a nice way. It's not salesy, it's more building relationships. We get to know each other. We get to support each other. Because we know each other, rapport is built. I don't believe in empty promises. I'm really about milestones giving you the opportunity to try it out and work out for yourself how you'd like to go.
Speaker 1:I am a strategist. I do like to work on strategy. Strategist, I do like to work on strategy. I am about building community because I understand without the community, none of us will grow on the platform. In fact, even with this podcast, I will not grow if I do not have community. Yeah, I think the universe has me doing lonely journeys so I can understand what it is to do the journey alone and then appreciate what it is to then focus on building community, so we do not need to do it alone.
Speaker 1:Going forward, I'm about helping you find your voice, tap into your talent and the hope is, with your story, you're able to build influence and presence and monetize. That would be the purpose of joining the Creator Network. I am focused on ethics. I am focused on responsibility. No false promises. It will take work and remember, you're taking your brand to another party to push your presence. So, as much as you'll be doing work to develop yourself, make yourself the best that you can be. You then have the dynamic of being on a platform with its own rules and regulations, its own culture, and it would be my task to help you understand it and work with it so that you don't experience the blockages that can come your way as much as possible. I am in official collaboration with TikTok, so it's my understanding, whilst you're succeeding, they will be doing what they can to make sure your success is continuous.
Speaker 1:15 hours a month as a minimum is what you'll be needing to use to live stream 15 hours or at least once every seven days. Personally, I think you need to do a bit more than that. It might be you do 15 hours a month, but split it up more throughout the week so you're present more times during the week, and the reason being influence right. The more people have an opportunity to see you, the more you will be imprinted in their mind, just like certain programs on the television used to be. I remember some programs would be every day and you knew what time they were going to be there. You could plan your day around it and you would be there to watch. I don't watch those programs anymore. Life has changed. But you know where I'm going with this. Imagine you're building your own channel, your own television program, your own podcast, your own radio station.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this is about us being consistent, not like how I have been with this podcast, because I've let life take over my dreams and ambitions. We are human and there will be times when you won't be able to live stream as frequently as you would like. Of course, you you will notice the difference when you do not. Personally, I notice when I'm live streaming frequently there's almost like a leaderboard. We tend to go up ranks based on how many times we've live streamed and when I stop, it's like I go back down again. So there is an impact, but we have to balance out life, because life is about balance. Right, you don't have to do huge things. We're talking about little steps for your growth and we're talking about finding a way to build community so that your creativity can be seen, your voice can be heard, your brand can be talked about and you can build your fan base. Do you have a skill, do you have a gift that you know needs sharing? Maybe you've been a bit shy until now about tapping into it and sharing it with the rest of the world and it is with the rest of the world.
Speaker 1:Even though I'm only able to work with people in the UK, there are other people from other countries on the platform. I know at the moment, in the current climate, the US is looking to separate itself from the core platform. I get that. Even still, there's a whole world that will be left behind on the platform. I really don't know what TikTok will do to make it work. I suspect we will be in spaces where people speak English, because, of course, the priority is to be able to communicate with other creators, build friendships and networks. I know in the UK when we're doing what we call shoppable content and yes, that's like having your very own, I suppose is it QVC television shopping channel, something like like creating your own space when you do that, you can only sell to people in the UK. So it kind of makes sense to build your community. For now at least, once you get your footing in the UK, the Creator Network is here to work with you in the UK and you'll have my full focus because I'm in the UK.
Speaker 1:Did I tell you I'm in sunny Somerset? I provide coaching online. I'll be able to speak with all the creators via WhatsApp, discord, maybe. I'm about online presence and, when I can, in-person presence and, as I know, it's just the UK now. It makes it a lot easier for me in terms of communication and navigation and I am about putting a face in front of things, a voice, and connecting. I like to meet the people behind the handle, so to speak. I'm an approved creator network here to work with micro-creat creators, people that want to build a career for themselves. Understanding is a self-employed opportunity and the coaching I deliver is delivered free of charge. It's a whole setup and program created by TikTok to make sure people are progressing on the platform, and progress could mean building your fan base, your network, your community and monetizing.
Speaker 1:This isn't a hustle, it isn't a grind. Some people might treat it like a game and it is a case of having fun. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It is not a scheme for anyone that wants to chase fame and fortune. This is about building a sustained presence a long time, maybe even legacy, depending on what it is you choose to do. I want to work with creators that are grounded, that can see the opportunity and they're prepared to put in the work to build, because it does require a step-by-step attitude to building real relationships that you're going to rely on later as you grow and grow. We're looking to grow something lasting. Who knows what opportunities will come our way in working together.
Speaker 1:Since I've been on the platform, I have worked with different companies through the shoppable content and a few of them just a handful. I have done affiliate marketing for, which means I get a code, I share the code, someone purchases from the store and I get a discount. I became an ambassador of London Northropics Coffee. They then chose to send me coffee on a monthly basis. Plus I get a code so that people can purchase the coffee and then I get a bit of commission back. So those are the kinds of things that can happen. I have heard of other deals where people get a cash sum to promote brands on their page and in their community. Like, there are so many opportunities. You just have to do your research, and I will be there as well to support you to tap into them. Some of them you'll need to seek. Some of them will come to find you.
Speaker 1:What is it you do on TikTok? They have tarot readers. They have makeup artists. They have tarot readers. They have makeup artists. They have people doing the spoken word. They have DJs, herbalists, shop owners all kinds of people wanting to go live stream, building their personal brand, building their community, selling something, their brand. It's not always a cash transaction, but often people will turn up and they're getting gifted by the people that's watching. Sometimes I've noticed tarot readers will have a community watching and sending gifts because they want to hear what someone who has paid for a reading is being told, and they will then get people to pay ahead of the session and sit there reading for people that may or may not be present. Some of them will just do the readings in exchange for a gifts. You know, engagement interaction. The platform doesn't support begging for gifts at all or any form of engagement that is set up where people say you need to come to this environment to gift. It really isn't about that. They want genuine engagement. They want to understand that people really enjoy the content. So within the platform, there are other ways that you can monetize and I can talk to you about that when you join me. It's about having a bit of self-respect, it's about having a vision and it's about understanding what makes people tick.
Speaker 1:Why am I doing this opportunity? I feel as if it's come at the right time. I feel as if I can give the honesty that I didn't get working for two years on a platform attempting to build my own client base. I think I am a good person to work with because I have had many a challenge on the platform and I'm still there. I can see the opportunity. I do believe, being part of a community me that they can tap into so that they can progress.
Speaker 1:Not everyone will see the creators that are attracted to me. I know because all creator networks have different niche, different ideas as to what a great creator is. There's some companies or creator networks that only like to focus on groups that do battles or only want to focus on people that do gaming. There are key growth areas on the platform that creator networks want to focus on because they bring on more income, and that's okay. We all have our focus. My focus is on coaching and helping people to go back to self, helping them, working with them so that they can tap into the best of who they are and present themselves accordingly, and I believe I'll be presenting a space for those that join me to grow.
Speaker 1:So if you're someone that's listening and you're in the UK or you know someone in the UK that you believe will benefit from this opportunity. I'd like you to reach out to me. You can reach out to me via this platform. You can also find me on tiktok. The account is sovereign's power you will need to apply. When you apply, I believe if you've never live streamed before, the platform will ask you to live stream for 10 minutes so that they can see one, that you're a genuine person. Two, you know how to manage yourself safely and three, that you've got the right equipment to go online. And basically, you ideally need two phones. They recommend iPhones just because of the quality, and so they recommend two iPhones and lighting. Now, I know people have gone not just with iPhones. Some people have used Samsung or what have you Do? What you need to do, but it needs to be that you turn up and you are present and you are seen and the platform is comfortable, that you're capable of managing a live stream, and we can talk about managing a live stream after you've passed the 10 minute session. Once you've passed the 10 minute session, I believe I get an alert and then I can formally invite you to join the network and then we can actually meet each other Real people coming together, connecting, supporting each other to grow.
Speaker 1:There's not many opportunities that come our way where we are encouraged to coach another person to succeed and their success will be connected to everyone's overall success. There's not many opportunities and in terms of startup fund, you don't really need too much. Of course, as we go along, we'll be encouraging more investment in self. I need to do the same continuously. I have changed a lot since I've been on TikTok. There's so many things that has changed and I think everybody that joins the community, the platform, they do find that they change to a great extent. It's been lovely to see and comment on how you may change once you have joined.
Speaker 1:I'm here to guide you and support you as you start with the opportunity, and what I'm really hoping for is that I can meet people where we can grow together and really have our careers blossom as we support each other on and off the platform.
Speaker 1:There's so much more I would love to share, but to start here is an opportunity if this is the one that you've been waiting for where you can join me for free support as you grow your own business, your own presence on social media, which will result in more connections so that your brand if if you have one, which you will actually as soon as you get into the swing of going and live streaming, so that your brand can get known and your creativity can get the recognition that it deserves.
